ARCH 481: 3D Modeling and Rendering, University of Washington, Department of Architecture

Schedule Summary

Instructor: Brian Johnson, Autumn Quarter, 2017

Summary of the Schedule

I have reorganized the schedule somewhat from past offerings, placing most of the modeling, or geometry-creation content in the early weeks, compressing it some, and expanding the time we will spend on rendering.

Each week we will address a different broad topic in modeling and rendering. To help you understand the topic there are background readings. In addition to theoretical discussion, there is information about how the subject manifests in the software (commands, features, etc.). Finally, sample- and tutorial-video links offer you the chance to change modes and review the material again.
