Overall I like the story! I noticed you went and re-shot the scenes at the waterfront. It’s unfortunate there was live music being performed in that location because it was pretty much impossible for you guys to record without also recording that, and it definitely distracts from the emotional tone of the breakup at the waterfront. I’m also curious if you used the camera’s on-board microphone or a shotgun mic because the audio during the phone call sounds interesting, almost like the sound in the room is echoing. The camera work looks good, I noticed the match-on-action and eye-line shot when you and the lady were looking up at the ferris wheel.

I’m not sure if you used lighting sources for the scene when you were indoors on the couch, but that would have perhaps been useful because adding one or two lights can create shadows on the face that help to hide/conceal your emotion, which is a good idea when trying to present someone as “depressed” or closed off.

Thankyou so much for loving the video. Yes, there is a live band was playing music during the breakup scene. I had used a rode mic and a mic pole to record the best audio as much as I can. I haven’t use any lighting source in the couch scene, and I will try to use it next time. Thankyou so much for your advice, I will do it better next time.

For this short movie, I had putted all my effort into it, and I really love the work that come out. During filming time, we had faced a lot of problem. Such as the audio quality , and find a location to film. We had refilm all of the scenes since that our audio quality is so poor at the first time. When we are re-filming some of the scene, we got kick out from some of the place. We have to find a new place and film all of them again. Some of the place doesn’t let us use the tripod, so we there are so many shaky came in the movie. We have moved the breakup scene in the waterfront so we could have the sunset scene. However, there was a live band playing music at that time. I try to avoid it as much as I can. The script part is not good enough, I will try to create a better script and show you guys a perfect movie next time:)

Nice audio and image quality. I like how the lighting and sunshine you utilized in the video, they make the video look like a official music video. But the background noise need to be adjusted. Also the subtitle would be better to put under the image. Overall, your work is great!
