About the students
Looking toward 2013
Orientation (held in More Hall Room 219):
April 11, 2012; 5:30-8PM
May 16, 2012; 5:30-8PM
May 30, 2012; 5:30-8PM
June 6, 2012; 5:30-8PM
One additional orientation time is anticipated for late
summer. This time will be used to meet Dr. Muna and the JUST
students via teleconference.
Program dates:
August 20 - August 24;
9AM to 4:30 PM; UW Campus, More Hall Room 219
(unless otherwise announced)
August 25 - August 29 -
travel to Jordan; meet at JUST the evening of August 29
(housing may be available for earlier arrival for a small fee,
please check with Dr. Heidi)
August 30 - September 18;
9AM to 5PM Sunday through Thursday with weekend field
trips and outings. There will be some free days, but please
check with Dr. Heidi before making any outside plans as the academic
program will be subject to change based on availability of speakers
and tour guides.
September
19, begin travels back to US.
If students need assistance
finding housing during the Seattle portion of the class, please
contact Dr. Heidi well in advance.
