Creating your web site
  1. If you do not have a Dante account, visit the CRC in Mary Gates Hall and have one of the lab assistants help you get one.

  2. To create your web page, go to

         http://www.washington.edu/computing/web/publishing/students.html

  3. Click the link for Your UW Net ID Services, and log in with your UW User ID and Password.

  4. Scroll down the page until you see Your Computing Services. You will see a list of active and inactive services.



  5. Click the link for Student Web Publishing.

    You will get a response telling you that your web page has been enabled, and you will be notified of the URL for your UW home page.

    If you forget the URL, it will be of the form

    http://students.washington.edu/myname/esrm250
