Conclusion

The journey of this site has ended. However the story of block 07 has just begun. Its sometimes easy to forget that there are people associated with history and there is a disconnect when you read or learn about history. The most important part when looking through these galleries is to understand that every action made to help renovate and area or "improve" it, can displace people and change what the area looks like. It is important to try and conserve our history to remember the people that lived it. The important takeaways from this report is that the University District is a place with rich culture and old family owned business. As it grows there will hopefully be an effort to conserve this culture and to help augment it with new developments. The last thing is that we can expect that Block 07 will be a place of mass amounts of people with the development of the new link station, and that the area will just continue to grow into the future.
