Technology being the great enabler in this world, it is hardly something to be left out in envisioning the future. This section of research deals with technology issues in the mobile ecosystem. Currently, it covers two aspects: the mobile device as a multimedia player, and location-based services available to mobile users. Both the topics include the current state of affairs in their respective realm (technology, challenges) and opportunities the future will present as technology evolves.
