Welcome to Nutritional Sciences 526: Maternal and Infant Nutrition

This course is designed for graduate students in public health and the health professions. Prerequisites include a course in introductory nutrition and an understanding of basic principles of the physiology of pregnancy, lactation, and infancy.

The course will include both a clinical and a population based approach. Students are expected to be active participants and independent learners in this graduate course. Much of the framework for class discussion and student evaluation is developed through a case study approach.
