Welcome to Nutritional Sciences 526: Maternal and Infant NutritionThis course is designed for graduate students in public health and the health professions. Prerequisites include a course in introductory nutrition and an understanding of basic principles of the physiology of pregnancy, lactation, and infancy. The course will include both a clinical and a population based approach. Students are expected to be active participants and independent learners in this graduate course. Much of the framework for class discussion and student evaluation is developed through a case study approach. In Autumn 2007 the class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays at 12:30 K069.
