Louise St. Pierre is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Industrial Design program at the University of Washington. Prior to coming to the University of Washington, she taught industrial design for several years at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. Her extensive professional experience as a practicing interdisciplinary designer has earned her national and international awards in both exhibit and product design. She writes on design process, ecological design, collaborative design, and has been recognized for her research in user-centric design and ecological methods for product designers.
