We had some high hopes going into this project. Our storyboard and all pre-production docs were on point and smelled liked success. When it came time to shoot, we had a whole lot of difficulty scheduling actors and shoot times. Unfortunately, this made for a very rushed final piece. I am simply thankful that we got the project completed at all considering the obstacles we had to overcome. But this is all part of video production I understand.
In regards to the video, we had some strong points and some weak points. The shot that is used throughout much of the piece is from a surveillance camera POV. This made for a long duration of a somewhat boring shot. The audio was pitchy and poor due to the fact that my sisters apartment is butted up next to the loud, busy highway. Should have used an external mic for audio. The actual footage, well most of it, I was happy with. If I had more time I would definitely like to clean it up a bit, and change up the interrogation scene. All in all, it was a good first stab at such a genre and will learned a lot from it.
