This web page was designed as a project for Marine Ecology at University of Washington Tacoma.  Each individual in the class chose a group of organisms to focus their studies on during the course.  The web page illustrates some important aspects of shorebirds and marine mammals. 

If you are interested in learning more about shorebirds, Dennis Paulson has put out two amazing photographic guides with detailed information on this unique group of birds. Unfortunately, I did not get to see many shorebirds during this class.
