ARCH 481: 3D Modeling and Rendering, University of Washington, Department of Architecture

arch 481: Submitting Work

Instructor: Brian Johnson, Autumn Quarter, 2017

For each exercise: files & printouts

Each project, or exercise, includes one or more modeling and rendering tasks, plus some questions. Both are essential for full credit on any exercise. The modeling or rendering portion of the project will produce files. The question & answer portion of the project will produce a printout.

Turn in files online

Use the drop box (opens a new window).

Turn in your files on-line. Do not email them to me. Use the Catalyst Tools dropbox (link above).

You will need your UW NetID and password to login to the dropbox--don't forget to close the browser windows when you're done.

If for some reason you cannot use the drop box, store the files on a removable device (jump drive, zip disk, cd-rom) and bring them to me.

Turn in print-outs to me

Again, DO NOT USE EMAIL to submit this work (unless you have prior permission). Print it out and turn it in to me, either in class or in my mailbox in Gould Hall. The piece of paper is easier for me to make notes on regarding your images and your answers, and it provides a readily managed 'tag' for the work done. I will return these pages, with comments, usually within a week.

Online grades

In addition to returning your work with comments and a grade, I record grades in an online database that you can access to check on your progress. That system is described elsewhere.
