Midterm Test

See Notes to the right for tips on writing tests.

Study Questions for the Take-at-Home Mid-term are posted to the right.

  • The actual midterm will be a selection of 4 of these study questions, possibly with minor tweaks to some numerical values.
  • The Final Four Questions for the Take-at-Home Mid-term are also posted to the right.

Please don't discuss the questions with classmates after you have all seen which questions are in The Final Four.
  • You will have 2.5 hours (self-timed) to write the test.  Choose your own time to do it.
  • Each question is worth 10 points.
  • The test will be closed book. (A few notes with some of your favorite equations or definitions is fine.)
  • We are operating on the honor system.

  • Be sure to explain in words what you are doing at each step, and read the Tips on Writing a Test.

  • Turn in your answers on Canvas by Saturday November 13 at the latest.

Final Exam

Study Questions for the Final exam are also posted on the right sidebar.

  • The take-at-home final exam will be a selection of 4 of those study questions, possibly with minor "tweaks".

The Final Four questions will be published Friday December 10.

Your answers will be due on Wednesday December 15
