Landscape Modeling and Geovisualization

The course objective was to use geovisualizations and landscape modeling techniques to effectively demonstrate landscape change.

Nathan Huggins was a graduate student (Geospatial Sciences) in the Department of Geography Geology and Planning, Nathan also worked for the City of Springfield as a GIS Specialist. Nathan worked as a Graduate Assistant on the Forest Change Project for the James River Basin Partnership. Nathan worked on 'Visualizing the forest change in the James River Basin'.

Teri Hunsinger was a graduate student (Geospatial Sciences) in the Department of Geography Geology and Planning. Teri was Graduate Teaching Assistant for GRY 360 (Aerial Photography Interpretation); she also worked as a Graduate Assistant on the Remote Sensing Database for Earth Science Education at Missouri State University. Teri worked on 'Visualizing thirty years of spatial and temporal landscape landcover changes in the James River Basin'.

Chris Wood was International Graduate Student from Australia, he studied in the Computer Science Department. Chris was involved with the CNAS Centennial Project and worked as a Graduate Assistant for the James River Basin Partnership. Chris worked on visualizing the 'Effect on water quality of urbanization within the James River Basin'.
