Printing directly to PDF

Direct printing to PDF may or not be available based on the Acrobat installation.

****Use proper naming convention of your files - the following steps are for guidance only.

To see if you can print directly to PDF, look at the list of installed printers (Start > Settings > Control Panel > Printers):

If Acrobat is in the list of printers, continue on. Otherwise, you will need to use Acrobat Distiller, Arcobat Writer , or GhostView.
  1. With your document open in the word processor, select File > Print. Select Acrobat PDFWriter.



  2. Click Properties. In the Page Setup tab, change the Resolution to 300dpi.



  3. Click the Compression Options tab and uncheck all boxes.



  4. Click the Font Embedding tab and check Embed All Fonts.



  5. Click OK and then OK on the main print dialog box. Save the PDF to where you want.



  6. View the PDF file after it is created.
