Mouse Shortcuts
- Mouse scroll up/down in image display area: Zoom in/out
- Mouse right click and drag in image display area: Pan
- Selecting Edit > Fit Image to Display will scale the image to the zoom scale according to the current window size. Choose this option if the image is too large or too small to reveal important information.
- (When Selection tool is rectangle) Mouse left click and drag in image display area: Draws rectangle until mouse key is released
- (When Selection tool is circle) Mouse left click and drag in image display area: Draws circle until mouse key is released
- (When Selection tool is polygon) Mouse left click: Specifies vertices of the polygon. A minimum of 4 vertices is required to draw a polygon. To automatically close the polygon by drawing a line from the end point to the start point, use the mouse right-click button. - Mouse hover on image display area indicates the image co-ordinates in the status bar.
- Mouse click on a pixel on the image: Displays luminance value in status bar.

Keyboard Shortcuts
- Pressing Alt key highlights the standard windows style shortcut letters for the menus. For eg. Alt+F opens the File menu; Alt + IE opens the Edit > Exposure dialog box.
- Pressing the Escape keyboard button clears the drawing area if it contains any drawn selection region such as Rectangle, Polygon or Circle.
