Conclusion

This block as you can now see is more important than it seems at first glance, the rich history told by the land it sits on and the future foretold by the buildings that sit on it are all just small pieces that make this block amazing. This block is almost all residential housing space for mostly poor college students which will not likely change although as the University of Washington grows with each passing year which I don’t see stopping this block will also. This block has already been re-zoned twice to make room for more people which I can see happening in the next few years as it is considered a high priority block to “refurbish” as the natural land that we mutilated in order to build on it is fighting back and slowly re-surfacing.
