	Learning Objectives
	Student learning goals Students will be aware of methodological issues of particular importance to nutrition studies in epidemiology Students will know many of the advantages and disadvantages associated with different study designs used Students will be familiar with some of the accepted and controversial associations between dietary factors and chronic disease Students will appreciate the issues involved in disseminating findings as nutrition recommendations in the context of public health Students will have the knowledge and tools needed to plan studies in nutritional epidemiology
