Conclusion

The University District’s development has sped up significantly in the last few years. Changes are being made to support our society’s move back to cities from the suburbs, and a lot of work will need to be done to keep up with each separate demand increasing populations creates. There is a need for areas like block nine that house the people moving into the area, and it will be interesting to watch and see if and when contractors buy the smaller houses because so much more money can be made from apartment style living than single family homes. The ripple effect that will create a need for transportation and more businesses in the area will be another piece worth looking out for as businesses find a way to profit from the recent changes. The University District is far from being completely developed and is in for major advancements in the years to come.
