Introduction

My block between Brooklyn Ave. NE and 15th Ave. NE, and NE Pacific St. and NE Boat St. is located oddly, before this project I did not know this area even existed. It is quite different from other blocks because it has multiple buildings for different uses. The urban development has changed quite a bit overtime, the uses have changed from residential, urbanized and commercial to fit the needs of students and staff today. The portage bay water is the one thing that has not changed very much.Throughout the site reports you will learn about what events and people lived here, the natural state, the purposes of the buildings, when they were built and how they have changed overtime, and what the future of this block will look like.
