In Conclusion

 I hope that through this exploration gallery, you have a greater understanding of the historical dynamics of the University District and more specifically, my block. You’ve seen the current state of the University District through a visual and written tour of my block. You’ve realized the shift in the environmental landscape of the area—from forested hills to concreate jungle. You’ve examined the swift increase in urban growth in the mid 1900’s, resulting in more residential consumerist infrastructure on my block; as well as the change in community dynamics. You’ve glanced at the future of my block through collaborative city planning. All of these chapters culminate into a complete history of my block and the U District.
