FIELD MAPS

The field mapsinclude similar data to the base maps, as well as designed roads, landings, stand data, etc. The field maps are plotted out, cut to convenient sizes, and laminated. It is a good idea to plot out a few copies of the maps as more than one group may be working in the same area. While you are in the field, your field map is basically your lifeline to the office. It will contain pretty much all the important information you created during the first office phase. The maps are plotted using AMLs (available for Download on 2000 project report in the appendices -- these amls will require some adjustment to your specific situation).
